Here at Sandymoor Ormiston Academy, our options are bespoke to each individual year groups’ needs and demands. We have an excellent package of CEIAG and this forms the basis of the option process ready for the start of year 10.
Prior to making any decisions, we offer pupils a forum where their views and career plans are explored.
From here, we tailor our option routes accordingly to best meet their aspirations.
Parents and pupils are kept well informed about the process through 2 parent information evenings and a progress evening event. We also offer an options taster week prior to final decisions.
